Michael LaCount

Director of Engineering

Michael LaCount holds a Bachelors Degree in History with a Minor in Economics from Metropolitan State College of Denver.  Michael started his Building Engineer career at the Lockheed Martin facility at Deer Creek, and then a Chief Engineer for Cushman and Wakefield and St. Charles Town Company.  He has worked in over twenty buildings in the Denver area, including several historic buildings.  He is familiar with HVAC controls and building management systems, such as Allerton; Inet; Honeywell; Siemens; Essco Controls; Jace Controls; and Richards Zeta Systems.  He has supervised construction and restoration projects as well as building start-ups and construction review. 

Michael has his Refrigeration Operators License and a CFC certification. He has also worked on steam systems, boilers and heat pump systems.  Michael has been an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts for the past 6 years, including being a den leader.  Michael is also an active fundraiser and parishioner at his congregation.
