MEET THE TEAM

ELIZABETH CASWELL DYER

OWNER & CEO

Before forming Sopra Communities, Elizabeth managed a large portfolio for St. Charles Town Company. Prior to that, she managed several historic reconstructions for Greystar in downtown Denver and was then promoted to the corporate level as an analyst, where she worked on acquisitions as well as financial reporting to owners and investors. 

In 2008, Elizabeth was a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Program and was the first winner of the John Parr Leadership Award for Leadership Skills and Community Service.  Elizabeth currently serves on the Downtown Denver Partnership’s LiveDowntownDenver Committee, the LoDoNA Women’s Series Steering Committee, BOMA’s Government Affairs Committee, the Lower Downtown District Board as treasurer and her own homeowner’s association as its treasurer.  

Elizabeth Caswell Dyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of St. Thomas and a Masters Degree in Music from the University of Miami.  Prior to moving into the field of property management, Elizabeth worked in real estate law, specializing in condominium and homeowner associations.

MATTHEW DYER

CVO

Matthew is originally from Galveston, TX, and graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, where he graduated with honors. He transferred to Denver with a major hotel chain to experience the splendor and grandeur of Colorado and escape the heat. Matthew’s last position held in the restaurant industry was that of a general manager.

Before entering the property management field, Matthew managed a large portfolio of products for a major spirits supplier as a Division Sales Manager. His accolades include Sales Team of the Year two years running from 2011-2012, and he served as a member of the Sales Leadership Program before his departure to join Sopra Communities. His thirteen years in the adult beverage industry allowed him to travel domestically and internationally, where he found a great passion in learning new cultures and making new acquaintances.

Matthew’s combined twenty-six years of experience in the hospitality and sales fields provide him with a vast knowledge of budget planning, marketing, and customer service. In his downtime, Matt enjoys a round of golf or two and working to restore his Denver home, built in 1905.

ROBIN BUSH

CFO & DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Robin Bush has been a practicing accountant for 30 years, working in the area of property management since 2001. Her background includes multi-family, HOA, commercial, and affordable housing, starting in the role of Senior Accountant, growing into the position of Controller in 2008. She began her property management career with Archstone-Smith, a Colorado-based REIT. Her most recent experience was 7 years in the Affordable Housing property management sector, overseeing the accounting of 42 properties, totaling 1381 units with Peoples Self-Help Housing in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Robin’s duties included financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, reserves oversight, investor, lender, and government reporting, compliance, and financial systems administration. Robin is a graduate of Christian Brothers University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Business Management, and passed the CPA exam in 2009.

MICHAEL LACOUNT

CXO & DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

Michael LaCount holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a Minor in Economics from Metropolitan State College of Denver.  Michael started his Building Engineer career at the Lockheed Martin facility at Deer Creek, and then became a Chief Engineer for Cushman and Wakefield and St. Charles Town Company.  He has worked in over twenty buildings in the Denver area, including several historic buildings.  He is familiar with HVAC controls and building management systems, such as Allerton, Inet, Honeywell, Siemens, Essco Controls, Jace Controls, and Richards Zeta Systems.  He has supervised construction and restoration projects as well as building start-ups and construction review. 

Michael has his Refrigeration Operators License and a CFC certification. He has also worked on steam systems, boilers, and heat pump systems.  Michael has been an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts for the past 6 years, including being a den leader.  Michael is also an active fundraiser and parishioner at his congregation.
